WIP

Currently writing a murder mystery novel spanning 16 generations.  Working title,  All Bones.  The tale unfolds in western North Carolina. My research involves understanding Catholics, Huguenots, and the Cherokee Indians.  It is a major undertaking.  I have completed four chapters of a planned 20. I am approx 22% complete.  I’ll offer excerpts with the following goals in mind:

• To discuss character development, plot or story devices
• To gauge emotion
• To seek research help or solicit reactions

There are short stories on my desk in various degrees of completion.

• A second tale about a young faerie.  I mean to complete this one in the next couple of months. This is second in a four-part arc.
• Something wicked this way comes for an insecure witch and she’ll never see it coming. It’s a “be careful what you wish for” story.
• What do you know about ghost brides?  This tale has a real twist.

I intend to re-submit my poetry book to more publishers in the new year.  Rejection, you are my enemy!
