Countdown to Christmas

Welcome December and hot cider. And hot chocolate. And soup. And blankie. And holiday movies. And sweaters. And lights and lights and lights. And breath that hangs in the air. And comfy robe and socks. And early (normal) nights with a good book. And gratitude. And love. And hope.

My holiday shopping is complete. I finish my Christmas cards this weekend and I’m baking holiday cakes, too.  Fa-la-la-la-laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, la-la, laaaaaaaaaaa, laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Here’s to the snow faeries!

Well, I have bus duty all week — and you know how sensitive I am to cold. I’m a Melisickle, and I’ve still got three days of this! It would be far worse if I were arthritic, too — so thank Heaven for small mercies.

But isn’t it all just wonderful? I love the weather. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if your snow dance didn’t set up a real snow even for sometime in the next 12 days or so.

You gave us all a good snow faerie kickoff this weekend with your fancy footwork! (And, don’t you love it when it snows here on WordPress? It’s becoming something I look forward to seeing each year. Silly, I know…)

Enjoy the warm fuzzies, my friend! 🙂 Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra——–ra-ra–ra–ra—–!

Oh my oh my oh my! It is cold enough to snow! Another day tomorrow of a high of 38! Whoohoo! I confess; it feels like Christmas. How lovely! (of course my arthritic bones are NOT happy with me!) Jingly bells, jingly bells….
